IT STARTED WITH A VOICE.
Jen heard Cayman sing and immediately knew viewers needed to hear him too.
She invited him onto her television show, where he performed several of his original songs.
One appearance became many, and before long Cayman had his own weekly segment, Cayman’s Calendar, highlighting events, entertainment and things to do around Southwest Florida.
What began as an on-air connection became a years-long friendship off camera. Cayman became part of the entire Stacy family — a regular at holidays, celebrations and everyday life.
Somewhere along the way, that unlikely friendship became an even more unlikely love story.
She became the inspiration behind his music. He became a chapter neither of them saw coming. And somehow, two very different stories began writing themselves into one.
They’re married. They’re musical.
And yes — StaCay really is Stacy + Cayman.
Their lives and careers began in very different places, but somehow, all of those different notes found their way into the same song, and eventually—

Jen has played piano since age four and began her professional performance career as a child. She became Equity-eligible by age 10 and spent years performing in professional musical theater and dinner theater, along with multiple productions with the Cleveland Opera.
Music and performance were part of her life long before television ever entered the picture.
Jen also taught piano, and her favorite success story happens to be Cayman. She gave him the fundamentals, he took it from there, and his natural musical ability still amazes her.
Her career eventually expanded into broadcasting, where she spent more than 26 years as an anchor, reporter and host, earning multiple Emmy Awards and Associated Press honors and logging more than 10,000 hours of live television in markets from Boston to West Virginia, Cleveland to Toledo.
She became one of the youngest main anchors in the country and built her career by connecting with people in a way that never felt scripted or distant. Viewers saw the highs, the lows, the funny moments and the real-life messiness in between — all shared with honesty, humor and heart.

Locally, Cayman performs solo piano shows around the region several times a week -- particularly impressive considering piano is a relatively new skill for him.
Jen taught him the fundamentals only a few years ago, and he took it from there — another reflection of his remarkable ear, instinct and natural musical ability.

Chris Cayman grew up singing in church and writing songs, with music becoming part of his life long before it became his career. Proud of his Haitian and Caribbean roots, he developed a style built around a powerful voice, remarkable range and natural showmanship.
His road to the stage was full of twists and turns. Cayman went from living and singing on the streets of Southwest Florida, to being at home on major stages and singing to crowds numbering in the thousands.
His velvet voice, five-octave range and soulful songwriting have captivated audiences and earned attention within the music industry. His talent led him to Miami’s legendary Criteria Studios, where he recorded his upcoming album with Grammy-winning engineer Javier Valverde. It’s the same storied studio associated with artists including Bob Marley, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Aretha Franklin and Michael Jackson.
Cayman is proof that DREAMS REALLY DO COME TRUE for those with COURAGE, HEART, and HOPE💙
